The Buffalo Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these “makers” to show hobbies, experiments, and DIY projects. We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth – a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
In an effort to make the Buffalo Maker Faire accessible to all of the members of our WNY community, tickets are only $5. We are doing timed-entry ticketing to make sure that we don’t get over crowded.
There are 600 tickets available for the 10-1 time slot.
There are 600 tickets avaialble for the 1-4 time slot.

Event FAQ:
Where is the list of exhibitors and activities?
The list of exhibitors will be added to the website page as they are approved.
Who is putting this event on?
The Buffalo Maker Faire is being Hosted by the Electric Mayhem Robotics Team from Nichols School.
What is your relationship to Maker Media, the producers of “the big Maker Faire?”
The folks at Maker Media support over 225 licensed and independently-produced Maker Faires in almost 50 countries around the world. They want to spread Maker culture, and they have a very open approach to doing that. We are inspired not only by their event, but by their philosophy. If you like Maker Faire or just making stuff in general, you should subscribe to Make: magazine – makezine.com
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry. No. Service animals however are allowed.
What if it rains?
The show will go on! Bring rain gear to keep you dry when walking outdoors. Fortunately, we will have many indoor exhibits to keep the family dry.
What can I expect?
To have a fantastic time! As you wander by table after table of new hobbies, crafts, work and sometimes just fun, remember the idea of the Maker Faire is the world’s largest Show and Tell, the makers are there to answer questions, to engage with you, and hopefully one or two will make a maker out of you so that you can present next year.
If you are curious about something, ask!
